// Mechanical Engineer & CS Graduate · Tufts '25
Mechanical engineer with a CS background — designing and building automated systems, robotic platforms, and the hardware-software integrations that make them work.
// what I do
I'm a mechanical engineer with a second degree in computer science from Tufts University (Magna Cum Laude, GPA 3.70). I love working on challenging problems whether that's working on projects that span different disciplines, designing a challenging part, or integrating multiple subsystems.
At Cellino Biotech, I've spent four years designing, deploying, and iterating on automated cell-processing systems — owning everything from CAD and fabrication through vendor management, software integration, and code reviews.
I'm equally comfortable at a machine or a keyboard, and I'm energized by the kind of work that requires both.
// selected work
Featured · Mechanical + Automation
Mechanical engineering work at Cellino Biotech, from an automated fluidics system as an intern to designing architecture for a next-gen automated cell-processing prototype full-time.
Software
Built a multiplayer casino game with a multithreaded server-client architecture.
Mechanical
Designed the Kaleidosphere, a moiré-pattern toy sponsored by Professor James Intriligator, using a weighted inner sphere and water interface to create a dynamic optical effect for kids.
// experience
Designed mechanical architecture for a next-gen automated cell-processing prototype (~10 integrated subsystems). Contributed to automation software — creating and reviewing PRs, participating in design reviews, and building updates enabling parallel workcell operations.
Owned the full lifecycle of an automated fluidics system — hardware spec, CAD, software integration, testing, deployment, and documentation. Eliminated manual reagent loading, improving lab throughput and scalability.
Machined, assembled, and tested prototype products for clients across multiple industries. Collaborated directly with customers to develop designs, select materials, and support product realization.
Collaborated with LEGO on SPIKE Prime — integrating third-party sensors and implementing AI/ML algorithms (kNN, linear regression) to support STEM education research.
// contact
I'm open to opportunities in mechanical engineering, robotics, and automation — especially where hardware meets software. If you're working on something interesting, I'd love to hear about it.
